I don't care what many people will deny, but race is still very much in our national consciousness.

If Obama was a White Man, he'd have the nomination all wrapped up a couple months ago. The fact that he's a Black man has introduced many barriers to his nomination.

There are some that are going to argue that it is precisely because he's Black that he's gotten this far, supposedly because of Liberal White guilt. That is an absolutely absurd statement. If that was the case, then every president we would have had since the Civil Rights era would be Black. And every Democratic nominee would be Black. The fact that Obama is breaking so much ground as a Black candidate just demonstrates just how RACIST America still is. Yes, I said it. We still live in a RACIST country.

There are many Whites, especially in rural areas who will not vote for Obama because

1. He is Black

2. They percieve him as a Muslim

3. He's got a funny name

Well, those folks are going to be missing out on a better president because of their petty racism. GOOD LUCK AMERICA.
