Anatomy of a Rumor: Down Syndrome and the PalinsPosted by Don Pesci in Untagged |
Out of a sense of decency, Sen. Barack Obama has said that the children of politicians should not be hauled into the bloody political ring, even when they embarrass their parents, as children will sometimes do. It is a solid rule to follow: The sins of the children, provided they have reached the age of reason, should not be visited upon their parents - even when their parents are politicians.

Palin Supporter of Alaskan IndependencePosted by Bacchus in Untagged |
BREAKING NEWS.
I'm not talking about Palin's teenage daughter but the fact that before Palin ran for mayor of Wassilla, she was an active member of the fringe Alaskan independence party which argued for Alaska to secede from the United States and form an independent nation. She only entered the Republican party to guarantee herself a real shot at winning political office.

McCain Hedges his Bets with PalinPosted by lrandall in Untagged |
After living through the past eight years under the reign of terror by George Bush, I'm left questioning, how can the nation elect another Republican? As the general election gets underway and the two major party conventions unfold, the contrasts between the two candidacies becomes more and more clear. There have been seminal moments in each campaign, but ultimately, elections as important as the

The Promise of PalinPosted by gregjaye08 in Untagged |
Palin Offers Real Hope, Refreshing Change & Contrast
A few weeks ago I predicted that Governor Sarah Palin would be the GOP VP candidate. However, I also said that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton would be the Democratic Party VP candidate. So I guess a .500 batting percentage ain't too bad. Senator John McCain, I think more out of political expediency than principle, selected a REAL conservative

Palin Unleashes Dobson’s HordesPosted by LooseKannon in Untagged |
Watching the usual cable suspects last night, the main effect of the Palin pick took a back seat to analysis about how it would influence female voters, and how the pick re-shaped the experience factor debate.
The main effect of the selection of Palin, the effect that will have the most positive impact on the McCain candidacy, was yesterday afternoon's endorsement of McCain by Dr. James

The Only Grade That MattersPosted by LooseKannon in Untagged |
I gave The Speech a B+. Thought O went on a little too long and, unfortunately, confused and lost some of the American audience early on with his reference to the Georgia that's not one of the 50 states. And these are the people he has to reach.
Outlining his plans to the faithful and the intelligentsia isn't going to get him one additional vote, and a lot of folks on the fence don't read

McBush's economic confusionPosted by CenterLeftLiberal in Untagged |
From a letter I published in a local newspaper a short while back,
McCain supports making the Bush tax cuts on the rich permanent, despite the fact that they have done nothing but waste over a trillion dollars to date and widen the economic fault lines that divide this country. Since Bush cut taxes, growth rates for jobs, consumption and income have remained well below the average for business

Palin reflects McCain's poor judgementPosted by Bacchus in Untagged |
Today, McCain made public his choice for VP. His choice, Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska, currently serving in only her second year in that position. Before then, she was the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, a town of only 6,500 where the biggest concern was whether there would be enough snow for the annual Iditarod Dog Race. Once again, as in his decision to support the Iraq invasion, and the

Palin is a MILFPosted by Nat Turner in Untagged |
Palin is a MILF. She is hot. Does anybody here agree with me?
However, McCain has just demonstrated again why he is a complete idiot by choosing someone with no experience governing a reclusive state for less than two years as his VP pick. McCain is a heart attack away from giving her the reigns to the world's "last superpower".
Good luck with that. But yes, she is hot, no doubt denying that.
