Just something I wrote years ago to remind me to take a step back and not take things to serious and remember what is good in life. Maybe it will help others to take a deep breath and appreciate what they have worth cherishing.
"A Cherished Life"
Some say the key to life is the need for money and big things
Some say it is a good job or fighting for the latest cause
Some only feel fulfilled when searching for the meaning of life
Personally I think they all go a little overboard
It is the simple things that make life worthwhile
An early morning walk in the Autumn woods
A sunrise or perchance a sunset in the hills above
How about a bowl of Ice Cream with your favorite toppings
It's these simple thing that give one pleasure in life
It's the simple things my friends that really are
The key to a very cherished life!
