Hillary's 3AM Phone Call

"It's 3am and you're safe and asleep. But there's a phone in the White House and it's ringing. Your husband's gone AWOL. Something's happening in a motel room in Washington DC. Your vote will decide who answers that call. Whether it's someone who already knows the best lawyers in town, knows the best spin-doctors. Someone tested by her husband's previous screwups and ready to lead the damage control again in a dangerous world full of right-wing attackers.

It's 3am and you're safe and asleep. But do you know where your husband is?"

If the following scenario seems far fetched, ask yourself this: What is more likely to happen in a Hillary administration, a 3am phone call based on the situation laid out in her original commercial's desperate attempts at fear-mongering, or a 3am phone call because Bill was feeling lonely and got in trouble again? Consider this, the last time weapons of mass destruction were ever used against the US? Never. The last time the weapon of mass destruction in Slick Willy's pants was used against an unsuspecting White House intern? 1996 (this was the last time we know of anyways).

If Hillary is going to be throwing out doomsday scenarios involving 3am phone calls, then it is fair game to point out the obvious, that the most likely 3am phone call she will be getting is one from the Secret Service informing her that Bill wandered off the reservation, fucked up, and got busted again.

Don't get me wrong, in no way am I playa hating on Bill Clinton. I don't begrudge the man's right to some action. I even empathize with the poor sap in a way, considering he's obviously in a marriage of convenience with no way out. Hillary said at the last debate she can't release her tax returns because she's been so busy lately, she hardly has time to sleep. If she doesn't have time to sleep, you can be damn sure she doesn't have time for Bill. One highly doubts her sleep deprivation is due to him keeping her up nights.

But do we really want to let an ex-president with an insatiable libido and years of pent up sexual energy, with no outlet for release, back into the White House again just to twiddle his thumbs? How long will it be before he gets caught with his pants down one more time? Hillary promised it won't happen again, but is she writing a check that her butt can't cash? Consider the incredible lack of discipline he's shown on the campaign trail lately and her inability to control him. If she can't control him now what make you think she will be able to control him once he's back in the White House with nothing to do?

Whoever becomes our next president will have a Herculean task before them simply to undo all the havoc and devastation wreaked by Hurricane Bush. Think what an additional headache and distraction it would be if that task were further complicated by another White House sex scandal. The right wing attack machine would pounce all over it like a bunch of kids at fat camp on a box of Twinkies. It could end up being the one thing that galvanizes Republicans and breaks them out of their downward spiral.

The Clintons are right. We cannot afford to roll the dice again and let a 3am phone call endanger the progressive agenda and frustrate the American people's desire for real change.

LOL I am sure that Bill doesn't get his rocks off from Hillary. I don't blame him for all his affairs, not with him married to a cold fish like that! LOL

A bit sexist, but I get the satire.

Relax buddy, don't get your panties up in a bunch. Explain to me what exactly you found "sexist"?

Well, for one thing, you seem to value woman only in their capacity to fulfill their husband's sexual desires. How do you know that Bill was the one who had problems fulfilling Hillary's needs, both sexually and emotionally?

I could really care less who was fulfilling who's needs in the weird dsyfunctional soap opera that is the Clintons. However, I do care about the negative impact any new scandals will have on the ability of the next president to get things done and wake America up from the 8 year Bush nightmare. Since they have chosen to run as a virtual co-presidency, it is entirely legitimate to point out that there has been a past history of sexual misconduct involving the Clintons. This ends up being a huge distraction which causes them to adopt a bunker mentality to defend against the predictable right-wing attacks that follow. The republicans might have tried to exploit the situation and burn them at the stake, but the Clinton's were the ones who supplied the kindling and the matches. If anything, I am being more critical of Bill than I am of Hillary in this regard.
