The rest of the world salivates

Now that John McCain, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton lead the presidential campaign and the Democrats are poised to increase thier numbers in the House and Senate the rest of the world salivates for the advancement of the power of the U.N. and the European Union.  They know that the conservatives were the only candidates that completely undersood the dangers we face around the world and have been pushed aside. With the Russians reitterating they will continue working with Iran, China continuing to increase the number of military assets designed for offensive maneuvers, Al Qaeda knowing with the support of Syria and Iran they will have more freedom to maneuver and with Venezuela bullying the rest of South America we are facing a lot of difficulties with weak leadership.

If the democrats win the general election they will hand over American soverignty and bow the the U.N. and EU's  every little whim.  After they are done implementing their socialist programs the U.S. will not have the money to defend itself, not that the democrats have the will to defend us either. The global warming crowd will have far more control over our economy and our lives than the American people wil have.  If somehow McCain, wins I don't believe he will take any serious steps to protect us until after another major attack.  The rest of the world wants a weaker United States of America economically, influentially and militarily.  Now I believe they will get their wish, we will be a weaker nation.

Unfortunately I believe the American people are becoming more and more acceptive of populism and socialism and that history has taught us nothing.  We are rapidly losing our freedoms under the guise of  political correctness, multiculturalism and environmental activist misinformation.  Most Americans do not realize how good we have it and do not understand how much better our standard of living is compared to Europe and other industrialized nations. Frankly, we have become spoiled and do not remember how hard work and ingenuity made this country great.

Worldwide media misinformation has portrayed the U.S. the most generous and innovative country in history as a greedy selfish nation. They ignore what we have done and continue to do for the world. The media nationally promotes the great socialist systems ignoring the many flaws and the destructive nature socialism has on the human spirit and innovation. Contrary to popular belief governments can't solve social problems. They usually only make them worse through useless mandates creating animosity, curbing responsibility, creativity and innovation and destroying the self-motivated.  Why do for yourself when you belive the illusion that government will do it for you.

I hope the American people wake up before economic disaster and international failures become ours.  Europe is on it's last legs as it is being crushed by the decades of social welfare and unchecked immigration.  We need to provide poor countries with ample power and energy sources, clean water and sanitation systems, proper medical facilities and treatements for disease, a strong education system and modern farming techniques.  This will make them self sufficient, prosperous and not envious of us but partners in trade and keeping the world clean and safe.  Sometimes joining them is not an option, we must beat socialism and internationalism.

"The world will then miss us as we were when we become one of them and can no longer provide for them."

HAVE A NICE GOVERNMENT APPROVED DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Europe is on it's last legs as it is being crushed by the decades of social welfare and unchecked immigration."

a) Ireland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are experiencing stronger growth than the U.S. & the social market economy turned Western Europe from a war ravaged continent to one of the world's most prosporous - there is little evidence that the weflare state is to blame for its current slowdown - demographics are much more likely the cause.

b) The U.S. has had a much greater influx of immigrants than Europe. If anything countries such as France, tend to be more nativist than the U.S (that ended well in Paris in November of 2006, didn't it?)

Then again, your post does end with a dozen (more?) exclamation marks... smilies/wink.gif

I don't think the world sees things the same way that you do.

No, the world does not percieve Bush and the rest of the conservatives as the ones who best understood the threats posed against us.

The world percieves Bush and Co. as warmongers and traditional imperialists who wage war for personal profit and interests.

Actually we are less powerful militarily, financially and in leadership and influence since the neocons led by Bush/Cheney took office. Our military is overwhelmed by the demands on men and material in Iraq and Afghanistan with no end in sight. We owe more to the rest of the world. The dollar is declining and the cost of commodities in dollars is increasing. Oil is over $100
a barrel up from 1990 by 70 or 80 dollars. Our national deficit has greatly increased. Our allies have all but abandoned us in the war in Iraq and are contributing meager support in Afghanistan. Globalization is shifting financial power Eastward and with economic power comes military power and influence. Domestically we are in a huge financial and credit crisis with the economy sliding into a recession of unknown depth and length. So if the rest of the World is salivating over regime change from Bush and Cheney to Obama or Clinton they must be stupid and I don't thing they are.
